The Textile Museum's recently acquired a large group of textile artefacts from the Bolivian highlands as well as other woven or knitted pieces that have already been accessioned since the 1970s including belts, bags, hats, ponchos and other and other accessories made in the early and middle twentieth century will be on view until 26 October 2008.
The broad range of techniques, patterns and items shown in this temporary exhibition reflects the many regional variations that characterize the cultural wealth of the Bolivian highlands.
