Da Jacopo della Quercia a Donatello. Le arti a Siena nel primo Rinascimento.
This event, organized by Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, exhibits art from Siena from 1400 to 1460, thus concluding a series initiated by other exhibitions displaying art from Siena from the 14th to the 18th centuries.
The series is divided into eight sections and aims to provide the most complete overview of art from Siena from the early Renaissance period, including both major and minor guilds.
The paintings and sculptures exhibited are accompanied by displays of miniature art, goldsmith’s art and rare 15th-century textiles, the last being the subject to which the eighth section is entirely dedicated.
