The International Conference on Carpets, in conjunction with the Austrian Society for Textile Art Research (TKF) will be conducting a six night tour between Vienna and Budapest from September 15 through September 21.

The event has a strong educational character, and is designed to be a meeting point for international experts and connoisseurs to exchange ideas about Oriental carpets and textiles.

Venues across Vienna will host a full schedule of exhibitions, lectures and auctions. After crossing from Austria to Hungary, the participants will have the chance to encounter rich collections of carpets and to partake in visits to cultural sites in Esztergom and Budapest.
