The Art of Painting in Threads aims to shed light on the importance of the16th century textiles collections held by the Museo del Tesoro del Duomo.

Professor Nello Forti Grazzini, one of the most important Italian tapestry scholars, will discuss the tapestry with the Baptism of Christ, and its probable cartoonist; Massimiliano Caldera, historian of the art, will present the fabrics owned by Giuliano della Rovere, who became Pope with the name Julius II, and the exceptional embroideries.
