In the landscape of Xvarnah. One book and seven drawings
On Thursday October 22, 2020, at 5 pm Gallery Moshe Tabibnia presents the event "In the landscape of Xvarnah".
On this occasion we will present the publication “Scritti sospesi / Visioni estatiche” [Suspended Writings / Ecstatic Visions] by Fulvio Salvadori, Lindau, Turin 2020.
Thinker of no simple collocation in the Italian intellectual panorama, Fulvio Salvadori is a silent but pervading presence, capable of in-forming - giving shape - to the thoughts of all those who have gravitated around him.
It will also be presented Marco Bagnoli's folder “Nel Paesaggio di Xvarnah” [In the Landscape of Xvarnah], in a numbered edition, specifically released for this event.
The original works, a unique series, are taken from Persian miniatures which can be found at the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art in Istanbul (Türk ve Islam Eserleri Müzesi). These works will remain on display at the gallery until Saturday, November 21st, 2020.
Marco Bagnoli's artistic practice is linked to the Italian Renaissance, to a cultural tradition in which philosophy and science are part of the artist's work. Continuous studies and travels have become real tools for the realization of his art: he thus drew, among others, on Islamic culture, the mystical poetry of the Persian Rumi, Sufism, the doctrines of Hinduism and the Tao.

Relators:
Marco Bagnoli, artist and author of the works
Giorgio Galli, historian, academic and author of the preface of this book
Pier Luigi Tazzi, curator of the Marco Bagnoli Atelier.

Moderator:
Giovanni Iovane, director of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts;

The event will be accompanied by a musical work by musician Fabio Resta.
