From April 4^th the Washington Textile Museum will host the exhibition entitled Blue in the wake of the exhibition Red, held in the same rooms last year.
 
Both the exhibitions have been organized with the purpose of analyzing the effect colour produce on the human perception, and give the opportunity to discover dyeing techniques from the antiquity to the contemporary period.
 
Among the exhibits are blue textiles dating from the Greco-Roman period, fragments of pre-Columbian tunics, and installations by contemporary artists (Hiroyuki Shindo, Maria Eugenia Davila, Eduardo Portillo).
