Red carpets, a touch of the Orient and a dinner pave the way to a future museum

“This year, in an ‘Expo format’ environment housing an evening gala attended by 900 guests [...], twelve precious sixteenth-century oriental carpets were displayed. The artefacts in question belong to the collections of the art dealer Moshe Tabibnia and the financier Romain Zaleski. According to Vittorio Sgarbi, Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Milan, the display of these historic carpets was set up with the aim to give a taste of the future textile museum [...]”.
