“A pioneering project, which is innovative on the international scene and absolutely unique in Italy, saw completion in Milan as a result of the fruitful relationship between art and private collecting: the realization of a space suiting the needs of an antique gallery, a library and a museum. Moshe Tabibnia, an antiquarian dealing with collectible textiles, is the front man of this new philosophy [...]. The project is built around Tabibnia’s magnificent collection, well deserving a place in the realm of museum collections for its completeness and for the rarity, beauty and importance of the pieces assembled over nearly thirty years, including tapestries, kilim rugs and precious textiles of all geographical and historical landscapes: nearly 1500 exemplars from Anatolia to China, from Europe to America [...]. On a monthly basis, a changing exhibit dedicated to a particular subject will be set up at the Moshe Tabibnia Gallery and, to such purpose, a few selected pieces of the collection will be displayed in three dedicated showrooms. [...]. Last but not least, lectures and conferences will be held in concomitance with a number of great exhibitions [...]”.
